Toyota Pakistan Hints to Increase Car Prices due to high freight Cost & devaluation of Pakistani Rupee

Because of rising freight costs, rising raw material prices, and the depreciation of the local currency, Pakistani automakers are seen to be on the verge of raising car prices.

Ali Asghar Jamali, who is the Chairman of the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) and CEO of Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC), has been very expressivel about these difficulties recently, implying that vehicle costs are expected to rise shortly.

He added that Toyota IMC is debating whether to increase prices all at once or in stages, and that it is “considering giving assistance to buyers who have already reserved their vehicles for November and December delivery.”
