On Wednesday night, there was an accident involving the Mianwali Express train near Faisalabad, Pakistan. At least 10 people were injured when one of the train’s compartments, called a bogie, derailed. The train was traveling from Lahore to Mianwali at the time of the mishap. After the incident, rescue teams quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured individuals to the hospital.
According to sources from Pakistan Railways, the accident was caused by the poor condition of the railway track, which had been damaged by heavy rainfall. The railway authorities have initiated rescue operations to repair the track and prevent further accidents.
This incident follows a similar one that occurred on May 23, when a bogie of the Shalimar Express train derailed near Rohri Railway Station in the Sindh province. The administration of the railway stated that the fifth bogie derailed near the outer signal before reaching Rohri Station, leading to a blockage on the track.
