Truck Full of Buffaloes Robbed at Gun Point in Karachi

Early on Wednesday morning, six armed suspects in a vehicle snatched a truck loaded with buffaloes from a dealer at gunpoint near the DSP Office in the city’s Cattle Colony.

In a report submitted to the Sukhan police station, livestock trader Nazim Hussain claimed that he purchases cattle from various farms and sells them at cattle markets.

Hussain claimed to have purchased seven buffaloes from Shahwani Jatoi’s farm along the Super Highway for more than Rs 1.2 million.

Around 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday, he had loaded the steers onto a truck and was en route to Cattle Colony when six armed suspects in a car stopped him close to the DSP Office.

The truck crew and the trader were being held at gunpoint by the suspects. Two of the suspects took the truck loaded with buffaloes, and the others first tortured the victims, then forced them into the car and drove away. Hussain stated that the suspects left them in a thicket near Port Qasim and fled.
