US President Donald Trump has placed himself at the top of a personal ranking of American presidents, calling himself “The Greatest” while putting former presidents Joe Biden and Barack Obama in the “Failures” category.
Trump shared the ranking on his Truth Social account on August 27. The list placed historic figures including George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Franklin D. Roosevelt in the “Great” group, one level below Trump.
The ranking divided presidents into categories including “The Greatest,” “Great,” “Near Great,” “Average,” “Below Average” and “Failures.” Along with Biden and Obama, former President Jimmy Carter, Ulysses S. Grant and Warren Harding were also placed among the failures.
Trump’s list also left out several well-known presidents, including John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Dwight Eisenhower and both George Bushes. Reports noted that the ranking follows a system used in a 1948 Life magazine survey, but Trump added himself to the highest category.
