Ahead of the elections, the salaries of government employees in Turkey have been increased by up to 45 percent.
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has announced an increase in the salaries of government employees ahead of the general elections on May 14.
The 45 per cent salary hike will start from June and will be for six months.
