According to a report in an Arabic newspaper, Ali Mohammad Al Shamsi, chairman of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, has issued a resolution to this effect regarding the requirements and restrictions of the Cabinet resolution No. 65, which went into effect on October 3, 2022.
Individuals who want to sponsor six family members must make at least Dh15,000 each year. The director-general will in this instance examine applications from expats who wish to bring in more than six relatives.
