Unbeaten! Pakistan Wins Arab Classic Baseball Title

Pakistan triumphed in the United Arab Classic Baseball Championship with a solid 12-1 win against the United Arab Emirates, wrapping up the tournament undefeated. This championship, organized by Baseball United, took place in the UAE from November 7-10, bringing together nine teams, including Palestine, UAE, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, and Nepal.

Pakistan’s journey to the final was marked by impressive victories, including a 17-3 win over Afghanistan, a 12-0 shutout against India, a 10-3 score over UAE, and a strong 10-0 finish against Bangladesh. These wins set the stage for their final matchup with the UAE, where Pakistan showcased their skill and teamwork.

The Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB), founded in 1992 and recognized by the World Baseball Softball Confederation, has played a key role in developing baseball across South Asia. Over the past 15 years, they’ve claimed ten championships, including the West Asia Cup in January 2023.

Throughout the tournament, Pakistan delivered outstanding performances, especially in their game against India, where their defense and pitching, led by Faisal Hayat, kept India from scoring any runs. Pakistan’s offense also shined, with powerful home runs that put them in control.

With this win, Pakistan’s baseball team demonstrated remarkable talent, coordination, and the strength of their program, cementing their place as regional champions and boosting baseball’s growing popularity in South Asia. This achievement is a proud milestone for Pakistan’s team and supporters alike.
