The University of the Punjab (UOP) has opened job opportunities for Pakistan nationals to fill several posts on a daily wages or contingent basis. These positions, funded by self-supporting or departmental funds, will be filled for a period of 89 days, following the policy framework set by the Government of Punjab. This initiative presents an opportunity for candidates to gain valuable work experience while contributing to one of the most prestigious educational institutions in Pakistan.
Available Positions
1. Driver (1 Position)
Eligible candidates for this position should have a middle-level education, with a preference for those holding a matriculation certificate. Applicants must possess LTV and HTV driving licenses for operating vans, cars, and other vehicles.
2. Sanitary Worker (1 Position)
Applicants with a primary education will be given preference for this role. However, illiterate candidates may also apply.
3. Cook (1 Position)
This position is open to literate candidates. Previous experience in cooking will be advantageous.
Terms and Conditions
These positions are on a daily wages or contingent basis. The selected candidates will not have any right to claim regular appointments or any legal recourse for the continuation of their employment. The hiring is strictly temporary, with no possibility of regularization or extension beyond the given term.
