US Ambassador Donald Blome Hosts Pakistan Cricket Team Ahead of ICC T201 World Cup

The US Embassy in Islamabad recently held a special gathering to honor the Pakistan Cricket Team, who are getting ready to travel to the United States (US) for the ICC T20I World Cup 2024.

At the event, US Ambassador to Pakistan, Donald Bloom, shared words of encouragement with the players as they prepared for their journey to the World T20I.

Also present was Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, who joined in welcoming the American ambassador. Ambassador Bloom expressed his best wishes to the Pakistani cricket team for success in the upcoming cricket tournament. As a gesture of appreciation, Ambassador Bloom gifted the Pakistani players with a souvenir cricket ball and a signed letter from the embassy.

In return, the Pakistani team presented Ambassador Bloom with an official Pakistan cricket shirt featuring a signed team badge. Additionally, Ambassador Bloom took part in a friendly cricket match with the national team players, adding a fun and memorable touch to the event. This gathering highlighted the warm relations between Pakistan and the US, as well as the mutual admiration for cricket as a sport.
