US announces $1 Million Aid for Pakistan

Recently, Due to natural disaster such as flooding, the United States declared to provide $1 million as an assistance grant to Pakistan.

The US Ambassador, Donald Blome announced in a meeting with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi. Donald stated that the generous assistance is funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

Funding would support the agriculture community of Sindh and Pakistan’s disaster management authorities in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan in order to reinforce their readiness and response capabilities in the face of natural calamities.

Donald assured that US nation is standing with Pakistanis during such challenging time, added further that we are equally with Pakistanis in such hard time and their hearts are with the families who lost their loved one in the flood across Pakistan and who are also dealing with recovery efforts.
