Watch Video: Sheikh Hamdan Lauds Dubai Employee’s Touching Gesture as he Served Elderly Woman in Wheelchair

The objective of the authorities in Dubai is to serve people instead of excising authority, a sentiment expressed by the Crown prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid, is evident as Jamal Abdul Rahman, an officer at the Community Development Authority (CDA) assisted an elderly woman in a wheelchair.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid took to his Twitter sharing a heartfelt video showcasing the compassionate service of Jamal Abdul Rahman and stated, “Caring for people, upholding their dignity, making them happy will remain the highest thing we strive for.”

The video depicts Jamal assisting the elderly woman by sitting right by her side rather than simply attending to her needs from a distance. With a sincere expression, he listened attentively to her words.

Sheikh Hamdan further stated that this gesture embodies their societal values and culture that emphasizes respect for the elderly, support for the young, and humility towards all.

He added that we are a government and an authority dedicated to serving people, not exerting control over them, as His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has taught them.

The Dubai Crown Prince also expressed gratitude to the CDA, under the leadership of director-general Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, for its earnest commitment to providing sincere and caring service to all.
