We Can Give Cheap Gas, Electricity and Oil to Pakistan: Iranian Ambassador

Iran’s Ambassador to Islamabad, Reza Amiri Moghadam, has said that Iran wants to help Pakistan by offering them cheap gas, electricity, and oil. He mentioned this during a dinner when he was asked.

Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam also talked about plans to have flights directly between Iran and Pakistan’s capitals. They’ve talked about it, and Pakistan has said yes, but they’re waiting for their Cabinet’s approval.

He also talked about a deal where Iranian airlines can fly to Pakistan, and Pakistani airlines can fly to Iran. Right now, flights go from Lahore and Karachi to Mashhad. Talking about a gas pipeline between Iran and Pakistan, he knows it’s hard because of rules from the US.

But he said they want to find a way so that Pakistan can still get gas from them. Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam knows that Pakistan doesn’t have enough energy. He said Iran wants to help by giving them cheap gas, electricity, and oil.
