With Over 1,000 Passengers, First Special Eid Train Leaves Karachi

On Friday, The first of two special Eid trains operated by Pakistan Railways ahead of Eid ul Fitr departed here at 2:30 pm from the city’s railway station.

The train, which will carry 1,078 passengers in 14 economy class carriages, is scheduled to reach its terminus in Peshawar in around 32 hours and 30 minutes. You will make about 30 stops along the way.

On Saturday, it would stop in Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Khanpur, Rohri, Bahawalpur, Multan, Shorkot Cantt, Toba Tek Singh, Khanewal, Gojra, Chak Jhumra, Faisalabad, Chiniot, Chenab Nagar, Sargodha, Malikwal, Shaheenabad, Mandi Bhahauddin, Lala Musa, Jhelum, Rawalpindi, Taxila Cantt, Attock City and Nowshera to reach Peshawar around 11 pm, after Karachi.
