World Bank Announces to Give $2 Billion to Pakistan

World Bank and IsDB (Islamic Development Bank) vowed to give an aid over $6 billion to Pakistan for climate rebuilding effort in reply to the Pakistan’s $8 billion flood appeal.

Furthermore, IsDB has vowed $4.2 billion over the next 3 years to Pakistan whereas, World Bank will $2 billion, and US, China and other nations also claimed to support the country.

It is pertinent to mention that country is in dire need of $8 billion from world aid for the next 3 years in order to strengthen the country’s economy that was almost laid to waste by havoc floods from June to October 2022, highlighted by PM Shehbaz in Geneva.
