World Bank Approves finances of $400 Million for Education and Healthcare of KPK, Pakistan

According to the official reports, The Board of Executive Directors of World Bank has recently approved the financing of $400 million from the IDA- International Development Association in order to support Pakistan for accelerating investments in the sectors of education and healthcare in the KPK- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.

The KPK is Spending Effectively for Enhanced Development- SPEED program that will help the KP government to strengthen its management of all the public resources as well as the fiscal planning in order to sustain the human capital investments (HCI) in education and healthcare sectors.

However, by implementing these critical reforms in the allocation of budget and other expenditures, this program will be contributing to increase the quality of schools as well as the health centers while removing the critical obstacles that are in the way to reach the last phase in the quality delivery of education as well as the health services in the province.
