World’s first non-profit city to be established in Saudi Arabia

According to the Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has announced the establishment of the world’s first non-profit metropolis (SPA). The city will serve as a global example for non-profit development, as well as an incubator for youth and volunteer groups, as well as local and international non-profit organisations.

“It will be the first non-profit city of its kind,” the Crown Prince said, “and it will contribute to the Mohammed bin Salman Misk Foundation’s goals of supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, and qualifying future leaders by defining non-profit work in terms of opportunities and youth training programmes it will provide.”

According to him, the project will also provide services that contribute to the creation of an appealing atmosphere for all city residents.
