The world’s most expensive teapot, called “The Egoist,” has a price tag that would shock anyone. It was made for a UK charity called N. Sethia Foundation by Italian jeweler Fulvio Scavia.
This teapot holds a Guinness World Record and is covered in diamonds, has ivory touches, an 18-carat gold body, and a base made of gold-plated silver.
It’s said to have over 1658 diamonds and 386 rubies on it.Back in 2016, it was valued at a staggering $3,000,000 (around Rs 24.83 crore). Recently, the Guinness World Record shared a picture of it on Twitter, which surprised many people.
Some were amazed at how a teapot could be worth more than their entire savings. Others found it funny, saying that tea brewed in this teapot wouldn’t taste any different. One person even joked that if it fell and broke, their descendants would be paying for it forever.
