The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa launched a cycle-sharing system on Thursday.
After the inauguration, Special Assistant to the CM for Higher Education and Information Kamran Bangash tweeted, “The wait is finally over and the Zu cycles are available for public use.”
“With over 300 cycles strewn across UoP, a safe and affordable commute is finally a possibility. Let’s pedal our way to a sustainable economy and resurrect the lovely flower city.”
A dedicated lane for cyclists exists on the Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). The bus service’s bike-sharing feature is said to be unique in the country.
