Recently, Mahmood Khan Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that 244,000 students have been enrolled in government colleges of the province and would get benefit from Education Card.
The program includes the entire tution fees waiver and would cost around Rs 1 billion to the provincial exchequer.
A statement has been issued in which CM stated that Education Card is a unique scheme of the provincial government which is a encouraging step in order to promote higher education in KPK.
Mahmood Khan recapitulated that the reforms and initiative of the provincial government started yielding results positivily and trust of the province nation has been restored on government educational institutions.
Chief Minister also cleared the steps that need to be taken in order to ensure that the educational institutions in the province were made fully functional.
