Education Minister’s Vigo Vehicle Stolen in Punjab

The Education Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Ghulam Shehzad Agha, faced an unfortunate incident when his official vehicle was stolen in Rawalpindi.

The vehicle, a Vigo with registration number GLTA 6326, was parked outside the minister’s house in the city. It went missing during the early hours of Tuesday, which was later discovered by the minister at 8 am.

Upon realizing the theft, the minister promptly informed the police. The incident occurred during suhoor, the pre-dawn mealtime, as it coincided with the ongoing Ramadan observance.

A case has been registered at the New Town police station against unknown culprits responsible for the theft. The stolen vehicle belongs to the GB Education Department.

Authorities have launched an investigation to track down the suspects involved. This incident raises concerns about the city’s security, highlighting the vulnerability even prominent figures like ministers face regarding vehicle safety.
