For many domestic flights, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced specially discounted fares and reduced its one-way fare from Islamabad to-Gilgit to Rs. 6,915 in order to facilitate tourism.
PIA revealed the news in a tweet reading “Time to admire Gilgit’s highest peaks in the world!!”
In another tweet, the national flag carrier declared: “Experience SKARDU’s beauty with PIA!!”
With a maximum baggage allowance of 40 kg now, PIA passengers can also fly from Quetta to Karachi and Lahore for as little as Rs. 8,711.
In view of the winter holidays that have just begun across the country, the airline has also announced special fares and individuals are beginning to display an interest in travelling at affordable rates.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PIA , Air Marshal Arshad Malik directed officials of the airline to work with renewed passion and enthusiasm for the development of the airline and to provide its local and foreign passengers with the best services.
