Tajikistan Launches Visa Services in Karachi

Tajikistan has officially opened a visa section at its Consulate General in Karachi, making it easier for Pakistani citizens to travel to Tajikistan. This new service strengthens the connection between the two countries and promotes better relations.

The visa section was inaugurated by Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori during a special ceremony. Tajik Ambassador Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir and other diplomats also attended the event, highlighting the importance of this development for both nations.

Pakistani citizens can now apply for Tajikistan visas directly in Karachi. To start, the consulate has appointed one visa officer to handle applications. As more people apply for visas, the consulate plans to increase its staff to ensure efficient services.

This initiative is a significant step in fostering closer ties between Pakistan and Tajikistan. It will encourage more travel, tourism, and business exchanges, bringing mutual benefits to both countries. The new visa section reflects the commitment of both governments to improve diplomatic relations and facilitate people-to-people connections.

With this development, Pakistani travelers no longer need to face the hassle of going to another city for their visa applications. The service is expected to boost interest in Tajikistan as a destination for tourism, trade, and cultural exchange, further enhancing the partnership between the two nations.
