Pakistani Runner Waqar Ahmad Wins Seychelles Trail Run Again in 2 Hours 11 Minutes

Pakistani ultra-runner Waqar Ahmad Nasir has once again proved his excellence by winning the prestigious Seychelles Nature Trail Challenge 2026. He successfully defended his title in the tough 22-kilometer race held on Mahé Island, Seychelles.

Waqar completed the challenging course in an impressive time of 2 hours and 11 minutes. He beat more than 150 elite runners from 14 different countries. The race is known for its difficult terrain, including steep hills, dense tropical forests, beautiful beaches, and sharp elevation changes.

Representing Islamabad-based Margalla Trail Runners, Waqar displayed outstanding stamina and determination. This is his second consecutive victory in this international event, which has brought great pride to Pakistan.

His back-to-back wins have highlighted Pakistan’s growing strength in endurance and trail running sports. During the podium ceremony, Waqar proudly displayed the Pakistani flag, celebrating his achievement.
