The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has reclaimed approximately 50 kanals of land at Quaid-i-Azam University in Islamabad as part of an anti-encroachment operation aimed at protecting public property and restoring designated areas.
The joint operation was carried out by the CDA’s Enforcement and Environment wings against unauthorised occupation of land allocated for the National Centre for Physical.
Authorities demolished seven illegal structures and cleared the encroached area during the operation.
A case involving obstruction was also referred to the Secretariat Police Station for further legal proceedings.
The action forms part of the CDA’s continued efforts to prevent illegal occupation, safeguard public land and ensure that designated spaces remain available for their intended purposes.
