The Capital Development Authority Development Working Party has accepted the project concept (PC-1) for a new traffic management solution project on Kashmir Chowk, Murree Road, valued Rs1,385 million.
The CDA also approved the PC-2, which is valued Rs70 million and would be used for surveying, development, and zone planning.
The CDADWP’s 55th meeting was presided over by CDA Chairman Amir Ali Ahmed.
The meeting also authorised the PC-1 worth Rs800 million for the development of the institute’s geospatial technology wing. The project will take 36 months to complete. The project’s goal is to keep planning and estate management in Islamabad going. This technology will also aid in the efficiency and robustness of CDA’s internal departmental facilities.
By carrying out the project, the CDA will increase its self-reliance in terms of physical planning, land acquisition, and infrastructure.
The conference also approved the PC-1 project for Rs95 million for improving the efficiency of the sewerage system and purchasing modern equipment.
