Sharjah residents can rejoice as the municipality has announced free public parking during the upcoming Eid Al Adha holidays. From June 28 to June 30, parking fees will be exempted. However, it is important to note that parking fees will be charged on Saturday, July 1, except for the designated 7 day paid parking zones, easily identified by blue information boards. These zones, including Fridays and holidays, will continue to require payment.
In celebration of Eid Al Adha, UAE’s public and private sector employees enjoy a four day holiday. This includes the Day of Arafah, June 27, as well as the three days of Eid Al Adha from June 28 to June 30. Additionally, for workers with a Saturday and Sunday weekend, this translates into a six day break. Employees are expected to return to work on Monday, July 3.
