After the increase in the basic electricity tariff by the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), the bill of consumers using 100 units per month will increase to Rs 1836.
Nepra has increased the basic tariff for users of 100 units from Rs 13.4 per unit to Rs 18.36 per unit.
Along with this, the monthly bill of customers using 200 units will increase from Rs 3700 to Rs 4700 as their basic tariff will be Rs 23.91 per unit.
The bill for consumers consuming 300 units of electricity will be between Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,000, while the bill for those consuming 400 units will go up to Rs 12,300.
Apart from this, the bill for users of 500 units will come between Rs 13,000 and Rs 16,000.
