PM Shehbaz Sharif Arrives in UAE to Condole Death of President Sheikh Mohamed’s Brother

The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, has traveled to the UAE for a one-day visit to offer condolences on the passing of Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, who was the brother of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.

Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has confirmed that during his visit, the Prime Minister will express the condolences of the Pakistani nation to the UAE President. Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to meet with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to sympathize with the loss of Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and to convey Pakistan’s government and people’s condolences.

The Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi are accompanying the Prime Minister on this trip. Earlier, PM Shehbaz, during a telephonic conversation, expressed his gratitude to President Sheikh Mohamed for his steadfast support in maintaining economic and financial stability in Pakistan, and also thanked him for the generous deposits of US$1 billion in the State Bank of Pakistan.
