Air Canada Joins Emirates in Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport

Emirates and Air Canada have achieved a significant milestone in their strategic partnership. Recently, it was announced that Air Canada will operate from Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3. It will take into effect on July 26, enhancing the customer service experience for both Airlines’ passengers.

This move offers customers seamless transit between the Americas on Air Canada and various destinations in the Middle East, Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and Africa on Emirates. It underscores the tangible benefits of their partnership, which began in November 2022.

Adan Kazim, Emirates’ Chief Commercial Officer, expressed enthusiasm in welcoming Air Canada to Terminal 3, highlighting the added value this collaboration brings to travelers. The relocation allows Air Canada passengers smoother connections to Emirates’ global network and access to the renowned Business Class Lounges and other essential facilities before their flights.

Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President of Network and Revenue Planning at Air Canada, recognized the significance of this move, strengthening their partnership with Emirates and emphasizing the importance of flights between the UAE and Canada. He expressed gratitude to both Emirates and Dubai Airports for facilitating the seamless transition, which benefits their mutual customers.

Majed Al Joker, Chief Operating Officer of Dubai Airports, warmly welcomed Air Canada, emphasizing the shared commitment to exceptional service and customer satisfaction between Dubai Airports and Air Canada. The relocation to Terminal 3 is expected to optimize airport efficiency, further enhancing the overall travel experience.

The first Air Canada flight is scheduled to arrive at Terminal 3 on July 26, with the inaugural outbound flight from Dubai to Toronto set to depart on July 27.

Since November 2022, both airlines have expanded their codeshare relationship to 42 routes, strengthened their interline agreement, introduced a reciprocal loyalty partnership, and collaborated to enhance their Cargo businesses and increase capacity into their respective hubs. This continued cooperation aims to provide travelers with more convenient connectivity and improved travel experiences across their networks.
