Finance Chief Ishaq Dar Vows to Defend Rupee, Confident of Bringing Dollar Below 200

Recently, Pakistan’s new finance chief stated that the Pakistani Rupee would be under 200 against US dollar.

Pakistani currency is currently at 227 to the US dollar.

Ishaq Dar Finance Minister stated in an interview, “The rupee’s real value is below 200 (to $1), and, God willing, it will come below 200 (rupees).”
