Mohsin Naqvi visited Pakistani Hajj camps in Mina to inspect facilities and review arrangements made for pilgrims performing Hajj this year.
During the visit, the interior minister met several Pakistani pilgrims and asked about their accommodation, food quality, transport and overall services being provided during the pilgrimage. He especially interacted with elderly worshippers to understand their experience and any difficulties they were facing.
Among those he met was a 100-year-old pilgrim, whose determination to perform Hajj at an advanced age was appreciated by the minister. He praised the pilgrim’s strength and spirit while extending good wishes.
Pilgrims shared feedback on the facilities and said most arrangements were satisfactory. Some minor issues were reported, but according to pilgrims, support teams addressed them quickly and provided assistance when needed.
Mohsin Naqvi assured worshippers that all possible support would continue to be provided throughout Hajj to ensure a comfortable and smooth experience. He emphasized that the welfare of Pakistani pilgrims remains a priority.
The minister also praised the efforts of Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs for managing Hajj operations and services for pilgrims. He acknowledged the work done to improve arrangements and coordinate support during the pilgrimage.
In addition, he expressed appreciation to Saudi authorities for their role in facilitating Hajj activities this year. He particularly thanked Mohammed bin Salman for measures aimed at improving services and arrangements for pilgrims.
Millions of Muslims from around the world are currently performing Hajj, one of the most important religious obligations in Islam.
