KIA has recently announced price reductions for several of its car models in Pakistan. The company has chosen to lower its vehicle prices in response to the recent strengthening of the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) against the US Dollar (USD). This decision reflects their commitment to providing customers with the benefits of this currency exchange rate improvement, making their vehicles more affordable and attractive in the market.
The Sorento variants, including the 3.5L FWD, 2.4L AWD, and 2.4FWD, have seen significant price cuts of Rs500,000 each. The new prices for these models are now Rs11.29 million, Rs11.2 million, and Rs10.3 million, respectively. However, these reduced prices are applicable only for customers who choose the full payment option.
Additionally, other KIA models have also witnessed price reductions. The Sportage (Black Limited Edition) now costs Rs350,000 less, while the Sportage AWD/FWD models have seen a reduction of Rs150,000. The Picanto AT model’s price has been reduced by Rs100,000. These price adjustments are expected to take effect from October 6, 2023.
KIA has emphasized that any new or additional duties and taxes imposed by the government at the time of delivery will be the responsibility of the customer. This indicates that the prices mentioned are subject to change if there are any changes in government policies related to taxes.
