Massive Increase! Gold Price Reaches Rs.303,000 Per Tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan reached an all-time high on February 10, 2025, following a sharp increase in international rates. According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola jumped by Rs4,000, reaching Rs303,000 from Rs299,000 the previous day.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs3,143, reaching Rs259,773. The increase reflects a global trend, with international gold prices hitting a record high of $2,905.98 per ounce.

Experts say the rise is due to economic uncertainty after U.S. President Donald Trump announced new tariffs, fueling fears of a global trade war. During such uncertain times, investors turn to gold as a safe-haven asset, driving up its demand and price.

Gold has always been considered a stable investment during financial instability. With rising global tensions, people are investing in gold to protect their wealth.

In Pakistan, the price hike impacts both jewelry buyers and investors. Many are now waiting to see if the trend continues or if prices stabilize in the coming weeks.
