NAB Declares PM Shehbaz, Family Innocent in Money Laundering Reference

Shehbaz Sharif and his family, through the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) were named as co-conspirators in the money laundering case on Wednesday. The NAB has presented the accountability court’s supplemental report about the money laundering case brought against the prime minister and his family.

Judge Qamar-ul-Zaman of the Accountability Court postponed further consideration of the case until May 24. Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shehbaz were exonerated in the money laundering case by the accountability court in October of last year. Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz were declared not guilty by Special Court Central I Judge Ejaz Hasan Awan.
