Pakistan 48/3 at 4th Day Stumps, Need 83 Runs to Win on Final Day

Pakistan needs 83 runs to win against Sri Lanka on the 4th Day of the first Test match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Pakistan has lost three wickets and stands at 48 runs in their chase of 131 runs.

Pakistan displayed a remarkable batting performance earlier in the first innings, scoring 461 runs, with Saud Shakeel’s unbeaten 208 being an extraordinary performance.

Sri Lanka was dismissed for 279 runs in response. Although Pakistan seems to be in a strong position, Sri Lanka still has a chance to turn the tide if they can improve their batting performance in the 2nd innings. Shaheen Shah Afridi continues to be a main player for Pakistan with the new ball.
