Bilawal Bhutto, the Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for the Dhabiji Special Economic Zone. The ceremony was attended by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, provincial ministers, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, and other officials.
The Dhabiji Economic Zone, initially spanning 700 acres, aims to attract both local and foreign investments for various industrial units. The project is considered the largest in Pakistan, with an estimated investment of five billion dollars and the potential to create 100,000 jobs, as highlighted by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
During the event, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the PPP’s Chairman, urged public support for the party and emphasized their commitment to human rights. He also acknowledged the former President’s role in achieving economic stability through thoughtful decision-making.
