Prices of Ghee, pulses, Flour and Chicken Fell Down

During the recent week, 23 essential commodities became expensive, 7 became cheaper in the country and the prices of 21 remained stable.


According to the weekly report of inflation issued by the Federal Bureau of Statistics, during the last week the prices of seven essential commodities, including chana dal, moong dal, chicken, flour, vegetable oil, and mustard oil.


Last week, mustard oil became cheaper by Rs. 9, broiler live chicken became cheaper by Rs. 6 per kg, vegetable oil by Rs. 3, and chana dal and moong dal became cheaper by one rupee each per kg.


23 commodities including potato, tomato, garlic, eggs, sugar, beef, mutton, raw milk, curd, jaggery, red chili powder, and petroleum products became expensive.


The price of an 11.67 kg domestic cylinder of LPG has increased by Rs 255, 200 grams of ground chili has become expensive by Rs 25, while garlic has become expensive by Rs 20 per kg.


Similarly, onion has become expensive by Rs.3 per kg, eggs by Rs.10 per dozen, basmati tota rice by Rs.5, and jaggery by Rs.3 per kg.
