Rain, Thunderstorm Expected In Several Parts Of Country

Get ready for wet weather, Pakistan! Forecasters predict rainy days ahead in Islamabad while northern mountains brace for thunderstorms.

The Meteorological Department has forecast rain for parts of Pakistan over the coming days. Some rainfall is predicted in Islamabad, while scattered thunderstorms are expected in the mountainous north of the country near Azad Kashmir.

Islamabad residents should prepare for rain showers, according to the forecast. Meanwhile, northern areas like Swat, Dir and Kohistan could see isolated thunderstorms. The weather department said gusty winds and lightning may accompany the storms in the north.

Gilgit-Baltistan is also likely to receive some rainfall and thunderstorms. However, the forecast indicates most other regions will remain hot and dry over the next few days.
