Saudi Arabia has announced a new scheme for foreigners who are eligible for Umrah.
Saudi nationals are permitted to invite friends to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a “personal visit visa” for the purpose of doing Umrah, according to a statement posted on social media by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
In a statement released on social media, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that foreign nationals coming on a personal visit visa will be able to get the facility of entry visa once or more.Â
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has also informed that foreigners who come on this visa will be able to visit the Prophet’s Mosque, in addition to visiting historical places and cultural centers in different cities.
The Saudi Ministry says that foreigners coming on Principal Visit Visas will also be allowed to visit all the cities and regions of Saudi Arabia.
