Mufti Tariq while in an interview with Local Automobile Company answered the question about the selling the Cars at “ON” is not Haram. He said:
“Selling automobiles and bikes at ON prices is typical due of the rapid rise in car prices. A group of certain cars are purchased by a lot of wealthy people, which reduces the supply and raises the price of such cars”. According to Mufti Tariq Masood, there is nothing wrong with purchasing a product at a specific price with the goal of selling it when its worth increases.
Even while people might go hungry if the good is not a necessity like food, that is only if it is. According to him, bikes, public transportation, and ride-hailing services are better alternatives to vehicles, which he views as luxury products. Selling vehicles at “ON” is therefore not against our religion but is unethical in society.
