Seres has brought exhilarating news for electric vehicle (EV) enthusiasts by unveiling a substantial price reduction for its locally assembled Seres 3 EV. This announcement, made in accordance with the company’s dedication to advancing sustainable mobility in Pakistan, cites the appreciation of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar and adjustments in EV duty levies as catalysts for the price drop.
The new ex-factory price for the Seres 3 EV is set at Rs. 8,390,000, marking a noteworthy decrease of Rs. 809,000 from the previous Rs. 9,199,000. Additionally, the booking price has been revised to Rs. 250,000 from Rs. 300,000, with deliveries scheduled for April 2024. The effective date for these changes is December 20, 2023.
The company has outlined certain terms and conditions, clarifying that the provided prices include taxes and dealer commission. Any future adjustments due to fluctuations in the exchange rate, government levies, or import policies will be borne by the customer. The stated prices are provisional and may change without prior notice, with the applicable rate at the time of delivery.
Existing customers who have booked the Seres 3 will automatically benefit from the updated pricing. The vehicle boasts impressive specifications and features, including a length of 4385mm, width of 1850mm, and height of 1650mm. Its wheelbase spans 2655mm, providing ample space for a five-seater crossover. Exterior highlights include an electronic panoramic sunroof, LED headlamps with DRLs, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The interior of the Seres 3 EV is equally impressive, featuring leather upholstery, a multi-informational display, automatic AC with climate control, and a 25-inch touchscreen audio and smartphone connectivity system. The inclusion of driving modes (Normal, Eco, Sports), a wireless charger, and a host of safety features like a 360-view camera further enhance the appeal of this electric marvel in the Pakistani automotive market.
