The dollar became cheaper in the interbank and open market.

The dollar depreciated by 81 paise during inter-bank trading.

At the closing of the last session, the dollar was trading at 286 rupees 71 paise. It is currently trading at 285 rupees 90 paise in interbank trading.

The value of the dollar is likely to fall further.

In the open market, the dollar fell by two rupees, the dollar was sold at Rs 289 in the open market.
