Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has become a highly successful and well-known sports icon globally. A recent report by Bengaluru-based company Stockgro has revealed that he is currently the highest-earning athlete in the world.
According to the report, Kohli’s contract with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is valued at approximately PKR 24 crore. He earns PKR 52 lakh from Test matches, PKR 21 lakh from ODIs, and PKR 10 lakh from T20 matches. Apart from his cricket earnings, Kohli has also invested in start-ups like Blue Tribe, MPL, and Sports Convo.
Furthermore, he serves as an ambassador for more than 18 brands, earning between PKR 26 lakh to 35 lakh for shoots, surpassing even Bollywood celebrities in terms of earnings. Kohli’s Instagram account, which has 250 million followers, allows him to earn around PKR 30 crore for every post he shares.
