Pakistani cricketer Shadab Khan is impressing everyone in the Major League Cricket (MLC) in the United States. He is playing for the San Francisco Unicorns and has taken five wickets in five matches so far.
In a recent match against the Texas Super Kings (TSK), Shadab’s amazing wicket-taking delivery became viral on social media. He bowled a perfect googly that confused the batsman, and the top of the stumps went flying. The batsman, Mitchell Santner, had no idea how to handle the ball and had to leave the field.
Even though Shadab performed well, his team, the San Francisco Unicorns, couldn’t win the match. The Texas Super Kings chased down the target of 80 runs with five balls to spare.
In the first match against MI New York, Shadab played a crucial role in his team’s victory. His team was in trouble at 50-4, but he and Corey Anderson, a former New Zealand all-rounder, formed a strong partnership to save the day. They scored 129 runs together off just 58 balls, with Shadab contributing 61 runs.
People on social media praised Shadab for his excellent performance in the MLC, and his impressive knock in the first match received a lot of appreciation.
