Saudi Arabia ‘Invites’ Ex PM Nawaz Sharif and PM Shehbaz Sharif for Umrah

The three-time former prime minister, who has been living in self-imposed exile in London since November 2019 due to health reasons, will fly on a special jet to Saudi Arabia on April 11 with his daughter Maryam Nawaz and other family members

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia has extended an invitation to Nawaz Sharif, the supremo of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to perform Umrah in the kingdom as a show of goodwill.

The PML-N Quaid is regarded as being close to the royal family.

Nawaz Sharif will visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a royal guest.

He would stay in Medinah and Makkah for the final ten days of the holy month of Ramadan.
