Babar Azam, the star cricketer and captain of Pakistan, has made a playful swipe at Wahab Riaz, the Peshawar Zalmi teammate and interim sports minister of Punjab.
Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced the appointment of the left-arm pacer, and he will remain in charge until Punjab holds provincial elections.
The Peshawar Zalmi skipper remarked on the PCB Podcast that the forthcoming season of the Pakistan Super League will see him hold the PSL’s top wicket-taker, 103, in check (PSL).
“The appointment of Wahab Bhai as minister excites me. He has played in a number of T20 matches. I’ll have to restrain the minister, though “Azam chuckled.
