Now when and how long will the Eid holidays be?

The Eid-ul-Azha vacations have been announced by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The abolition of holidays was announced in a press statement by Bank Daulat Pakistan on June 21, 2023.

According to the statement issued by the State Bank, banks will remain closed from 28 to 30 June 2023 (Wednesday to Friday) on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

It may be recalled that on June 21, the Bank of Pakistan announced the closure of all public and private banks and microfinance banks across the country on June 29 and 30.

It may be noted that banks will also remain closed for public transactions on Monday, the beginning of the new financial year, while all commercial and private banks and microfinance organizations will open as usual from Tuesday, July 4.
