After a dismal showing at the Hockey 5s World Cup, Pakistan’s men’s hockey team defeated Switzerland 10-1 in Oman on Wednesday to win the Challenger title.
The South Asian country, which had defeated Nigeria 11-5 in the Hockey5s World Cup opening match last week, lost to Poland 8-7 on Monday, thus eliminating it from the competition.
As a result, the games are played much more quickly and are made to make hockey an exciting sport for onlookers.Sixteen teams, divided into four pools are featuring in the first-ever Hockey 5s World Cup.
